G Hotel’s “A Time to Give” CSR programme brought joy and laughter to the children of the Salvation Army Children’s Home.
Now in its seventh year, the programme continues to fulfill the simple wishes of these young ones.
Each year, the children write their names and wishes on cards.
These are then hung on the hotel’s Christmas tree, waiting to be picked by generous guests and staff.
The 20 foot Christmas tree set aglow with twinkling fairy light is a sight to behold.
An international school held its prom night at the hotel and everyone posed happily for pictures with the giant Christmas tree.
There’s always time for a selfie or two. Especially with the two handsome men in the house.
Santa and his helpers thrilled everyone. The beautiful santarina served us cookies and cakes.

Members of the public would pick a card with a choice of gift, purchase it .
Later place the present under the Christmas tree before 16 December 2016.
The children will return on the 21 December to unwrap their gifts.
Each child receives two gifts under this programme.
In the spirit of Christmas, the children sang carols.
They gave two stunning dance performances to an appreciative audience.
Santa and helpers appeared later.
The children going around wishing everyone “Merry Christmas.”
At the end of the ceremony and were treated to freshly baked cookies, Christmas fruit cake and sweet macaroons.
