I can’t say no to ice cream generally.
When Bee suggested we head for more desserts, Penny was slightly bemused at us.
Penny: You can still eat Dory?
Bee: Everyone knows that women have a second stomach called the dessert stomach, BUT few know of the ice cream stomach!
Penny: A third?
Bee: Bingo, and let’s go. I’ll lead the way.
Dory: I’ll drive you girls up the wall.

Creameal Ice Cream Best Served Handcrafted
Creameal is an ice cream shop and café specializing in handcrafted ice cream.
It used to operate at Jalan Phuah Hin Leong before joining the community at Hin Bus Depot.
The ice cream shop has dual frontage, and it’s much easier to park in Hin Bus and walk through the garden.
There’s scant parking on the Hin Bus side of Jalan Gurdwara, and dashing across the busy road is not an option.

Creameal Ice Cream Shop
The little ice cream shop is cozy, with mismatched chairs and table tops made from glass-topped old doors.
It was more important for me to find the coolest spot in the shop so that my ice cream doesn’t melt.
Creameal’s ice cream is available in single scoops or served with waffles.
Of course, Penny and I chose to have an Affogato each.
Penny chose Salted Peanut Butter Choco Nuts.
I figured Salted Caramel ice cream is as good as it gets when paired with a shot of espresso in my Affogato.
I remember the first time I introduced this to my friends at the E&O Buffet in 2016.
Sensible Bee had a single scoop of Milk Chocolate.

Aside from the desserts, Creameal also serves Western dishes and espresso-based coffee.
Around 12 flavors of Ice Cream are available daily.
When the tubs are sold, they will make a new batch with a different taste.
For premium flavors, a surcharge of RM1.00 applies.

We would have gone for more carbs on top of our sugar rush and ordered waffles.
I checked with friends who have had the waffle – it has a nice crispy texture.

Creameal Ice Cream Review
The handcrafted ice cream at Creameal is just lovely, with its nice and not too sweet taste.
The texture is creamy without being jelak.
I remembered the taste of McD cheese ice cream, which was too rich.
Although with a full stomach, having a second single scoop was a little over-the-top indulgence for me.
Penny summed it up with just one word, “You’re just greedy, Dory.”
When it comes to ice cream, what can I say?
At RM6.80 for a single scoop, I’d gladly give up my all-time favorite Merry Ice Cream (RM9.90 or RM8.90) for a Creameal.
