Some of the trendiest cafes and coffees that’s Insta worthy and delicious to boot without being overtly pretentious is at KLCC The Pit Stop For Great Coffee Kuala Lumpur!

You wouldn’t think of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) as the pit stop for coffees, right?

If you’re thinking: But she only drinks her Americano with THAT Barista milk, right?

Then you need to follow me around when I scoot off quietly over the weekends.

For a coffee addict like me, the newest is bound to hit that spot.

Malaysia Coffee Fest 2017

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Unveils Three New Coffees in conjunction with hosting Malaysia Coffee Fest 2017.

With names like ‘Popcorn Latte’, ‘Jet Black’ and ‘Zesty Iced Black’, these trendy new creations were unveiled during the inaugural coffee fest.

Don’t worry that you’ll miss it, popcorn latte notwithstanding. Catch these delicious creations made for coffee aficionados at the Centre’s cosy Parkview Deck Café, from now until 26 May 2017.

The café is located on Level 1 with spectacular views of the PETRONAS Twin Towers and overlooking the KLCC Park.

Coffee Best Paired With FREE Wifi

There’s free Wi-Fi available. I heard it on the best effort shared basis up to 250Mbps.

The Centre’s Beverage Manager, Sean Tristan Patrick Thomson said that the Popcorn Latte’ is an espresso shot and frothy milk, drizzled with popcorn syrup and topped with whipped cream and caramelized popcorns!

Yes!

How do you get those little balls to stay afloat? That I wanted to know!

Zesty Black

“The Zesty Iced Black’ is a freshly brewed black coffee which has orange zest and palm sugar, served on ice,” he said.

There goes my Malaysian favourite “Kopi-O Ais”, all grown up and spunky.

I wanted all the blacks, noirs, etc. You know those Penang people; they just love food and drink the colour of INK.

Jet Black

‘Jet Black’ is a blend of vanilla ice cream and milk.

This is milky mixture is poured over espresso ice cubes. The garnish is chocolate syrup topping.

Now I know for sure he’s taunting me, Ma.

“Malaysia Coffee Fest will bring together the many hip cafes and well-known local coffee players and unite coffee lovers all over Malaysia.

This is a celebration that promises the best coffee brews Malaysia has to offer.

“We look forward to welcoming all the coffee connoisseurs and turning the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Precinct into THE Coffee Capital of Malaysia.

Innovative Food

Visitors looking for delicious local fare should also head to our West Wing Café, where they can savour our latest innovative food and beverage (F&B) creations while enjoying the view of the KLCC Park and the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers.”

The Centre’s General Manager, Alan Pryor said that Malaysia Coffee Fest chose the venue based on the excellent location.

“We attract a high footfall from tourists, locals and coffee lovers. With great accessibility and connectivity, which makes us the perfect venue for consumer shows like this,” concluded Pryor.
