The food in Lagenda Café in honor of Penang’s beloved musician, actor, and songwriter cuts all ethnicity, just like P.Ramlee’s songs.
Now his music lives on in Lagenda Café on Campbell Street, Penang, where you could have a Fusion style meal and order a “Getaran Jiwa” drink to enjoy.
These children were so inspired to spontaneously perform after listening to a favorite song by P. Ramlee, much to the amusement of their family and the writer.

A huge mural of P. Ramlee playing the saxophone fills the café. The eclectic decor features earthy tones.
Brightly colored cushions and batik tablecloths add charm. The mix creates a cozy, homey ambiance.
