5 Creative Ways to Use Leftover Ipoh Salt Baked Chicken

Salt Baked Chicken stalls line entire streets in Ipoh. After trying one, I discovered my love for the salty, fragrant taste.

I thought it was a tad too salty for my liking but it is delicious and flavorful.

But I couldn’t chow on it like fried chicken. So when I bought a bird back it, we found that we couldn’t finish in seating.

Now I can’t wait for the MCO to be lifted to make another trip to Ipoh again.

I want to share the recipes with you so you can make tasty meals for your family to enjoy.

Cooking Tips:

Adding a potato is the perfect way to reduce the salt in soups and gravy. Just throw a clean and skinned potato into the pot and let it simmer.

The potatoes will absorb some salt. Remove it after. You will have a less salty soup.

There is no need to add more liquid or other ingredients to help disperse the extra salt.
