Guests and bloggers learned about the humspud’sud’s nutritional value and were introduced to four dishes that use US potatoes.
Potatoes USA promotes five main potato products: frozen potato products, dehydrated potato products, fresh table-stock potatoes, fresh chip-stock potatoes, and seed potatoes.
Each variety fits into one of seven potato types: russet, red, white, yellow, blue/purple, fingerling, and petite.

She shared facts about a healthy diet and valuable nutritional facts about the good complex carbs found in the humble spud.

Chef Audee Cooked USA Potatoes in several recipes
Penang CAssociation’son’s President, Chef Audee, demonstrates enthusiasm and easy banter, which makes learning new recipes fun during the live cooking demonstration.
A lucky participant got into action to learn hands-on by assisting Chef Audee. The aroma of the dishes made everyone hungry to taste the potatoes.

Both Miss Khoo and Chef Audee posed several questions during their sessions.
The Q&A Sessions energized and motivated the crowd to interact. Participants won squeeze balls made in the shape of a big russet potato or Potatoes USA aprons.
