From the appetizer corner, plenty of healthy green salad enticing freshly-made kerabu, Ulamns, and sambals that we all love and miss.
Kerabu Jantung Pisang and Kerabu Daun Selom are two of my favorites.

The meats, seafood, and gulai are so delicious with your plate of white rice or Malay Style Fried Bihun.
You get dishes bursting with robust flavors like Ayam Percik, Daging Rendang, Kambing Masala, Sambal Udang Petai, Kacang Buncis Masak Pedal Ayam, and Perut Masak Lemak, and more.
Live Action Corner
Unique items and a crowd puller are Kambing Bakar with Nasi Mandy, definitely not to be missed.
Other on-the-spot freshly grilled dishes are the Chicken and Beef Satays, Ikan & Udang Bakar, and Tandoori Chicken or Lamb Wrap.
An interesting dish is the Tempura Prawn with Ramen Noodles!
There’s also a kid’s corner of Hawaiian Pizza, Pandan Chicken, and Pop Corn to keep the children happy.
What a perfect buffet spread!
Enough of the food menu; it is time to end the night with the incredible selection of local kuih muih and mouth-watering desserts.

Among the options that caught my attention the most are these local kuehs.
Onde-onde is a snack of sweet rice cake balls filled with bursting molten palm sugar and coated in grated coconut.
Kuih Keria/Sweet Potato Rings Malaysian deep-fried mini doughnuts made from sweet potatoes.
The snack and dessert counter has an assortment of local kuih, cakes, and goreng-goreng together with Tau Foo Fah, Agar Agar, and Merry Ice Cream.
The goreng-goreng reminds me of the time spent in Kelantan, where the tradition of eating colek after tarawih is lively!

Olive Tree Hotel Penang is one of the places where memorable moments are created with the Ihya Ramadan-themed sumptuous feast at their all-day dining restaurant.
The Iftar meal, perfect to whet your appetite with traditional dishes, will transport you straight to Grandma’s kampung house.
You must try their Kambing Bakar with Nasi Mandy, all the delicious gulai, and take advantage of their dessert corner.
I must admit I had a soft spot for their Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting and the Onde-Onde.
