This vibrant yee sang was a feast for the eyes and the palate.
A fruity base of strawberries, grapes, and pomegranate paired with sesame seeds, almond slivers, and walnuts.

Baby abalone, nestled in a zesty dressing that tied it all together with a touch of luxury.
Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Sea Cucumber & Fish Maw

The rich, savory essence of ayam pencen combined with the delicate textures of sea cucumber and fish maw made for a nourishing and festive soup.

Roasted Lamb Ribs with Barbecue Sauce
These lamb ribs were tender yet perfectly held together, with no hint of gaminess.
Each rib was coated in a slightly sweet, smoky barbecue sauce.
Each bite was an absolute delight, with a balance of flavors that complemented the meat beautifully.
It was the kind of dish that feels comforting and refined, leaving you wanting just one more bite. 10/10.
Steamed Sea Garoupa with Indonesian Batong Sauce
Fresh, tender, and expertly steamed, the sea garoupa was served on a bed of silky tofu and sautéed vegetables.
The Indonesian Batong sauce enhanced the dish without overpowering the delicate fish, highlighting the chef’s impeccable skill.
Sautéed Asparagus with Assorted Mushrooms & Dry Oyster Pani Puri
A creative fusion of flavors!
Earthy, sweet assorted mushrooms were tucked inside crispy pani puri shells.
With braised dry oysters, while the asparagus brought a fresh crunch.
This inventive dish intrigued us, with each bite offering something new.
Butter Prawn with Crispy Egg Floss & Spinach
A crowd favorite, these juicy prawns were complemented by crispy, buttery egg floss that was delicious. The fried spinach made each bite absolutely addictive. 10/10.
Pineapple Fried Rice with Otak-Otak & Shrimp
This fried rice is a challenge for Uncle Roger.
The dish was a game changer. Pairing the tangy sweetness of pineapple with creamy otak-otak (surprise!) and succulent shrimp took fried rice to a whole new level.
The chef’s attention to detail really shone through, making this dish a standout in the spread.
Double Boiled Soya Milk with Ginkgo Nut, Barley & Peach Jelly
This dessert was the perfect balance of light and satisfying.
The subtly sweet soya milk paired beautifully with the textures of ginkgo nuts and barley.
While the refreshing peach jelly added a delightful touch.
Not only was it vegan and vegetarian-friendly, but it was also an excellent way to end the meal on a high note.
Steamed Coconut Rice Cake
Simple yet comforting, this steamed glutinous rice cake coated in fresh coconut was both nostalgic and satisfying.
It was the ideal finish to an extraordinary meal—light, chewy, and full of natural sweetness.

On the eve of the Lunar New Year, Olive Tree Hotel presents two Reunion Dinner packages priced at MYR1888 nett for a 7-course menu.
Enjoy unlimited festive desserts, including assorted New Year cakes and crispy fried nian gao, alongside live entertainment such as a lion dance, face mask changing, and a Chinese orchestra performance.
