Speech by Penang Mayor Dato’ Ir. Rajendran
During the launch, Penang’s Mayor, Dato’ Ir. Rajendran Anthony delivered an inspiring speech that underscored the significance of this milestone.
“This book is a reflection of five decades of a committed bond that celebrates shared achievements, mutual respect, and a deep cultural connection that has grown over the decades,” said Mayor Rajendran.
He further praised the collaboration between the authors, Marcus Langdon and Rachel Yeoh, for capturing the unique perspectives that define the relationship between the two cities.
