Royal Caribbean Opens Spectrum of the Seas Cruise Bookings for 2022

Asia’s largest, most innovative ship, Spectrum of the Seas, will Cruise from Singapore to Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam beginning in October 2022.

Holidaymakers will have much to do with the long-awaited comeback of cruising to the best of Asia destinations.

Quantum of the Seas Extends its Season Through April 2022

Royal Caribbean International has opened online bookings onboard Spectrum of the Seas.

In a media release, Royal Caribbean announced Spectrum of the Seas cruises scheduled to set sail from October 21, 2022.

Travelers can look forward to spectacular 3- to 9-night sailings on “Spectrum of the Seas,” said to be the cruise line’s “largest and most innovative.”

Sailings for the Asian market are now open for bookings.

The sailings are subject to approval from Singapore authorities based on the prevailing health situation and border measures.

According to Royal Caribbean, Quantum of the Seas’ ultimate ocean getaways sailing season has been extended to April 7, 2022, catering to the strong demand for sailings from Singapore.

The cruise liner also announced that guests aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for all new bookings made from October 1, 2021.

Spectrum of the Seas is a Quantum-Ultra-class cruise ship launched in 2019 specifically designed for the Asian cruise market.

The ship became the fifth largest in the fleet by gross tonnage and operates primarily in East Asia.

There are a total of 18  decks, of which 16 are passenger-accessible.

The ship can accommodate up to 4,246 guests and 1,551 crew members.

Built to deliver memorable vacation experiences, the first Quantum Ultra Class ship boasts the cruise line’s first private enclave for suite guests, innovative dining concepts, and stunning features and adventures – many of which have never been seen at sea.

It has private suite accommodations in designated areas at the forward end of the ship, 19 dining options, and features and activities “which have never before been seen at sea.”

Royal Caribbean International in Singapore, Vice President Angie Stephen said they are thrilled to introduce a spectrum of new adventures with Spectrum of the Seas.

“With the recent surge in repeat cruisers and a significant number of new cruise guests, we look forward to bringing the best of the Royal Caribbean experience to our guests.”

Quantum of the Seas “Cruise to Nowhere”

Quantum of the Seas, operating “cruises to nowhere” out of Singapore since December 2020 and has extended its season until October 2021 and again until February 2022.

Stephen added, “We are excited to extend Quantum’s ultimate ocean getaways again through early next year and continue to cater to the strong demand for sailings from Singapore.”

Spectrum of the Seas Accommodations

Royal Caribbean’s first and exclusive Suite Enclave features the exquisite Royal Suite Class Star, Sky, and Sea accommodations in a private area supremely positioned at the forward end of the ship.

Health and Travel Alerts

The global cruise operator continues implementing health and safety measures as needed, in line with its Royal Promise commitment.

In addition to robust onboard ventilation systems, enhanced cleaning and sanitization, and having its crew vaccinated, the cruise line will require all guests to be fully vaccinated for all new bookings made from October 1, 2021, and onwards.

The vaccine requirement is one of many measures safeguarding the well-being of guests, crew, and the communities at each destination visited.

Royal Caribbean said that it would continue to evaluate and update measures to protect the well-being of passengers and crew as the COVID-19 situation changes.

Royal Caribbean’s Cruise with Confidence Program

Guests who book their vacation on Quantum on or before October 31, 2021, can be assured of flexibility in their plans with Royal Caribbean’ssCruise with Confidence program.

The program allows for changes and cancellations up to 48 hours before the cruise sets sail.

If holidaymakers cancel at least 48 hours before their sail date, they’ll receive a Future Cruise Credit.

The credit is valid for future bookings on or before April 30, 2022, for sailings departing before December 31, 2022, or one year from the original sailing date, whichever is later.
