Low-cost carrier Citilink Indonesia Inaugural Flight Kuala Lumpur to Bandung was launched to provide greater mobility for business and leisure travelers.
Earlier today, the inaugural Citilink Airlines flight departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 1) at 3.20 p.m. and arrived at Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung at 4:45 p.m. local time.
Flight QG 0539 to Bandung by Airbus A320 takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The daily route has airfares starting as low RM188 one way, including
- 7KG cabin luggage
- 10KG check-in luggage
- a hot meal
“Bandung has been one of the Malaysian tourists’ destinations in Indonesia,” Citilink director Juliandra said in a statement.
“We hope the new route will attract even more Malaysian visitors to Indonesia.”
The airline also serves international routes to Kuala Lumpur from Jakarta, East Java’s Surabaya, and Bali’s Denpasar.
Citilink Indonesia (QG) is a fast-growing low-cost carrier based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The airline began as a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia and became an independent carrier in 2012.
Flight operations are performed with classic Airbus A320 and new A320neo aircraft to more than 30 destinations in Indonesia and Malaysia.
In Surabaya, East Java, Juanda International Airport (SUB) is Citilink’s main base of operations.
