Low-cost carrier Citilink Indonesia Inaugural Flight Kuala Lumpur to Bandung was launched to provide greater mobility for business and leisure travellers.
Earlier today, the inaugural Citilink Airlines flight departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 1) at 3.20 p.m. and arrived at Husein Sastranegara Airport Bandung at 4:45 p.m. local time.
Flight QG 0539 to Bandung by Airbus A320 takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The daily route has airfares starting as low RM188 one way, including
- 7KG cabin luggage
- 10KG check-in luggage
- a hot meal
Citilink director Juliandra said in a statement, “Bandung has been one of the Malaysian tourists’ destinations in Indonesia.”
“We hope the new route will attract even more Malaysian visitors to Indonesia.”
The airline also serves international routes to Kuala Lumpur from Jakarta, Surabaya, East Java, and Denpasar, Bali.
Citilink Indonesia (QG) is a fast-growing low-cost carrier based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The airline began as a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia and became an independent carrier in 2012.
