Chef Jiro has created a brand new menu for the resort’s cosmopolitan restaurant with his knack for pairing creativity and delicacies in his western cuisine.
With more than a decade of hospitality experience,
Chef Jiro has set out to transform Tide’s dining offerings with his passion and skill.
The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa’s Hotel Manager, Rajiv Kapoor, welcomes Chef Jiro as chef de cuisine, committed to developing a new menu for Tide enhanced by his enthusiasm and creativity in the kitchen.
“I am certain our guests will relish his new creations,” Rajiv Kapoor said.
In his role as Chef De Cuisine, Chef Jiro will head Tide’s day-to-day operations.
He will develop and execute inspired new recipes and menus that benefit the Westin brand.
Before joining The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa, he was chef de cuisine at The Andaman, a Luxury Collection Resort in Langkawi.
Later at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, and The Westin Kuala Lumpur, he started as Chef De Partie and eventually moved up the ranks.
