Weekend Toast The Best Brew – Four Points by Sheraton Penang
Friday’s wind down for Penang folks, and weekend crowds mean heading to their favorite watering hole on the island – The Best Brew!
Don’t want to stay in George Town?
Don’t fancy the crawl up to Batu Ferringhi, either?
How about just near the beach, at the mid-point?
I’ll call it the easy brewery, but I supposed the owners had found the best moniker in The Best Brew @ Four Points by Sheraton.
What better reason to quench thirsty throats than with a wide choice of favorite brews and selected beers fresh from the tap?
To keep the party alive with beer towers, buckets, and pretty cocktails for the ladies?
Throwing peanut shells on the floor is an excellent game if you’re shy.
You’ll probably gain loads of confidence soon enough with bar games, challenging beer trivia, and rounds of the pool to de-stress from the week’s hectic schedule and kick-start the weekend.
The deco is easy; comfortable with a contemporary casual setting, making it a good hangout spot for friends to chill on Fridays.
Like pub grub like me?
Mojito is the way to go. A nice little cocktail with five incredible ingredients: white rum, sugar, lime juice, sparkling water, and crushed mint leaves. Yum!
Club sandwich and a bucket of extra thick-cut fries!
You can’t go wrong with a pizza, even if your friends start with the party games without you. Just grab a slice, chow down, and jump in to play!
Bangers and mash, OMG! Some of us seriously love pub grub!
Some comments from the happy crowd.
Steven Chew found the floor of the Best Brew littered with groundnut shells the first time he dropped by.
Chew has since become a regular at the Best Brew but still feels bad as Housekeeping has to tidy up the mess.
“I enjoy coming over here as it is a relaxing place. We can have fun throwing ground nutshells at each other. This is fun, and it brings out the kid in us. Their Mega Beer O’clock is a great buy, too,” Chew said.
His colleague, Revenue Manager Patrick Wong, finds the pub a great place to hang out and relax with friends.
“I usually chill outside on the terrace. After looking at numbers for the whole week, the sea view is a great change of scenery,” said Wong.
Thank God for Its Friday (TGIF) is to celebrate the start of a great weekend; our girls think so!
An extended Happy Hour with various promotions for patrons to enjoy relaxing music, games, and some good tasty snacks is always a great plan.
