If you love all things chocolate and more, you’ll be pleased to be here to have your chocolate wishes fulfilled.

The most indulgent dessert is chocolate; more chocolate is needed for everything.

My only food wish is a more extensive dining area as the cafe only occupies a small space.

A bigger dessert restaurant with a huge chocolate fountain smack in the middle—I was having visions and flashbacks of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.

So, we content with a limited seating, with a long queue of people waiting for their treats!

I remember walking up and down like a stalking lioness at Chocolate Heaven Salon Du Chocolat in KLCC Suria.

I tried to stave off my passion for the entire chocolate cake and failed foolishly.

Then I gaped at the menu, trying to count calories, and the waitress thought I was counting pennies.

She read me the menu, thinking Aunty Dory had forgotten her bifocals. How do you decide what to order?

A picture menu would be OK? I can point to the exquisite chocolate creations.

It’s like LC, who used to innocently ask me how you could walk by a chocolate aisle in the grocery section.

I look far – far, and power walk before those grabby cholates pull me in.

I have a passion for chocolate, and premium chocolate knows this well.

The smells draw me in – fans of chocolate will understand me well.

Every time, I build resistance to chocolate and order cream puffs (my French ladies are whispering to me, profiteroles!)

Some women in the café will inevitably order a Sizzling Brownie!

It’s always that moment when the smooth chocolate liquid hits the hot plate – that sweetly coyly smell hits my nostrils.

Burning chocolates do things to your mind.

Try eating a meal at Karaikudi.

You’re nicely lulled into a carb-laden stupor of bread and biryani rice, and again, some woman in the restaurant orders a Sizzling Brownie!

It is so powerful – it hits a note in my subconscious, and I look forlornly at Penelope.

“yadda yadda yadda, go ahead – put in another order, Dory.”

I seriously have no self-control when it comes to chocolate.

I’d imagine the smooth chocolate liquid coating my tongue trickling down my throat – the ultimate craving satisfied.

The kind of urge when I see M&M.

It borders on insanity.

So I was a good little squirrel and convinced Penelope to order cream puffs!

I mean, the maths do me in as well.

And we get a choice of either chocolate shot!

And in case you are wondering, what’s with the profiteroles, Dory?

What is the difference between a cream puff and a profiterole?

Cream puffs and profiteroles are often used interchangeably to mean the same thing.

They are French pastry-choux pastry-based puffs filled with a cream filling.

Come with no expectations, and you’ll be most happy.

I’ve visited several times and remained happy until the day Saro gave me Lindt chocolates over Christmas.

Now I blame Saro for spoiling me rotten.

All other chocolates taste gritty after Lindt milk chocolates (I swear!).

So if you think whatever is smooth, creamy, and decadent – sorry, BB, you must stay away from those Lindt.

Otherwise, you will be like me, and it will take a long time for my tongue to forget the smooth, rich, extremely fine—essential and remarkable melting taste of LINDT.

What Did We Order ?

Six cream puffs and two Americanos.

After we polished off the cream puffs dipped in chocolate and stirred the rest into our coffee, we waited.

Then we ordered hot tea and a fruit soda.

And we were happy and good to go.

After some retail therapy (in our case, after some Japanese lunch), we ended the day with a chocolate treat.

We went to Salon Du Chocolat on the ground floor for a chocolate therapy session.

Chocolate Experience

It was a full day, and the staff did exceptionally well to serve everyone promptly.

I’ve been there at night, and when it’s quiet, it’s an excellent experience as the restaurant is cozy.

If you choose to go during peak hours, please be patient.

Most eateries are understaffed, and everyone is doing their best.
