Last weekend, Gurney Paragon Mall came alive with the sights, sounds and flavours of Japan.

🎉 Grand Opening Highlights
The celebration began with a lively lion dance and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Among the guests were Mr Ng Wai Shen and Mrs Susan Zheng Ying, directors of the three restaurants.
They were joined by representatives from Gurney Paragon Mall and Dato’ Seri Khor Teng Tong, founder of Hunza Group.

The crowd watched as Mr Satoshi Shimomura, the man behind Japan’s famed Shimomuragyu beef, performed a live wagyu cutting demo.

Tsukiji Sushi’s chefs followed with a dramatic 90 kilogram Bluefin tuna carving.
Guests leaned in as silky slices of otoro belly were served on the spot.
To finish, everyone was treated to a tasting of Tsukiji’s signature Bluefin Tuna Roll, freshly prepared by the head chef.
