Penang Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments Penang recently kicked off the year-end festive season with their heartwarming Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Charity, and Appreciation Night.
The event brought guests, corporate clients, media, and children from The Children’s Protection Society (CPS) and The Salvation Army Penang Children’s Home for an evening of joy and giving.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
This year’s tree was adorned with hundreds of teddy bears, each available for RM99 to support charity.
A key highlight of the evening was the success of the Beary Merry Charity Bear Campaign.
Subash proudly announced that over 400 bears had been sold before the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The campaign invites the public to adopt a bear for RM99 nett.
Proceeds from the teddy bear sale will fund educational opportunities for children at CPS.
Further spreading the spirit of generosity, staff donated items to The Salvation Army Penang Children’s Home.

As part of Marriott International’s Global Customer Appreciation Week, the evening celebrated corporate clients, Marriott Bonvoy elite members, and media partners with a delightful cocktail reception and a series of lucky draws.
Prizes included 2D1N stays, buffet dinners, and afternoon teas.
