Our 2D1N staycation at Bertam Resort Penang began with me picking up Wendy from Penang Airport.
After a delicious lunch, we took the scenic route via the first Penang Bridge from George Town.
Surprisingly, the traffic was smooth for a Saturday afternoon, allowing us to reach the resort in under 40 minutes.
Using our TNG card, we easily accessed the resort entrance, and once there, I dropped off our luggage with Wendy.
I then parked the car in the open car park and walked up a flight of stairs to the lobby.
Meanwhile, Wendy was already in the queue for registration, with our luggage safely registered with the hotel concierge.
Registration at the front desk took about 10 minutes, during which we received our room keys and a complimentary drink voucher.
The friendly staff at the front desk also inquired if we wanted to visit the theme park on the same day or Sunday.

Considering the hot and humid afternoon weather, we decided to rest in our comfortable room.
The front desk and concierge were helpful and explained the times and venues for our dinner and breakfast.
From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that made us feel right at home.
We decided to rest and enjoy our complimentary drinks at the Cafeteria in the Grand Lobby.

Upon arriving at Bertam Resort Penang, Wendy and I were immediately captivated by the little oasis in Kepala Batas.
The exquisite Moorish-inspired architecture, with its elegant design and grandeur, left us in awe right from the start.
The resort’s enchanting Moorish designs added an elegant touch to its already stunning beauty, and everywhere we looked, a sense of grandeur left us in awe throughout our entire stay.
While the grand lobby wasn’t air-conditioned, it wasn’t sweltering hot, just a little humid in the afternoon.
The vast resort boasts a nice pool, fitness center, complete MICE facilities, and two dining outlets.
The layout is spacious, with several lifts providing easy access to each block of single-corridor hotel suites.

The room was a true haven of tranquility, thoughtfully designed with our comfort in mind.
We were impressed by the abundance of power outlets, which came in handy for charging multiple devices, making our stay even more convenient.
The soothing color scheme in the room created a relaxing ambiance, which was exactly what we needed after a day filled with delightful street food adventures in George Town.
The pillow, bed, and duvet were of top-notch quality, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating sleep throughout our stay.
The level of comfort provided by Bertam Resort was simply outstanding.
Given the hot and humid weather outside, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the room cooled down.
This made our relaxation time even more enjoyable, especially when we spent moments on the cozy balcony sipping coffee and relishing snacks while admiring the breathtaking views of the pool area.
It truly felt like a haven of relaxation.
While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, we have a minor improvement suggestion.
As the weather was scorching during our stay, having more drinking water readily available in the room would have been an excellent addition.

One of the highlights of our stay was the unforgettable culinary experience at the Poolside Food & Meat BBQ Buffet Dinner.
The variety of mouthwatering dishes was exceptional, ranging from delectable BBQ Chicken Wings and Sausages to succulent Lamb Ribs and Slipper Lobster Thermidor.
Not to be missed was the heavenly Shepherd’s Pie and the delightful freshly made-to-order Churros with chocolate and caramel sauce, leaving us with an unforgettable dining experience.
For appetizers, the buffet offered a selection of fresh salads, flavorful soups, seafood on ice, cold drinks, and even hot Teh Tarik.
The dessert section was equally delightful, featuring an array of cakes, churros, bread pudding with vanilla sauce, and Ais Kacang with various toppings and sweet sauces to satisfy any sweet craving.

We couldn’t get enough of the resort’s top-notch amenities.
I couldn’t think of any other words to describe The swimming pool – it was colossal, enormous, and very welcoming.
The fabulous pool was perfect for a refreshing dip and a good time for families with children holidaying at Bertam Resort.
