Enjoy Mercure’s specialty “warung” “warung” action that includes the Ramadan specialties must-haves.

  • Ketupat Pulut
  • Lemang with Serunding Ayam and Daging

I made a beeline for my favorutie – Bubur Lambuk.

Bubur Lambuk is a traditional Malay-style porridge commonly served during Ramadan in Malaysia and Singapore.

The filling one-pot dish contains rice, meat (usually chicken or beef), vegetables, spices, and herbs.

The ingredients are cooked in a large pot over low heat for several hours, producing a thick and flavorful porridge.

Bubur Lambuk is often distributed for free to the community as a form of charity during Ramadan.

It is also commonly served at mosques, community centers, and other public places for breaking the fast during iftar, Muslims’ evening meal at sunset during Ramadan.

In addition to being a delicious and nutritious dish, Bubur Lambuk also holds cultural and social significance, as it brings people together and fosters a sense of community and generosity.

Enjoy Murtabak, Rojak Buah, Kuey Teow Goreng, Laksa, Ais Kacang, Cendol, and Aneka Manisan while enjoying the sea breeze in the alfresco area with a sea view.

Chef Ayu’s Live Action Station

You can find these delectable grilled meats on the BBQ grill.

  • Ikan Keli
  • Ayam Percik
  • Daging Harimau Menangis
  • Beef & Chicken Satay

‘Daging Harimau Menangis’ is a phrase in Malay that translates to ‘Tiger meat is crying.’

It is not a literal statement but rather a metaphorical expression that describes a situation where a person is experiencing great emotional pain and cannot express it verbally.

The phrase suggests that the pain is so intense that even the meat of a powerful and ferocious animal, like a tiger, would cry if consumed.

It is often used to describe a heart-wrenching or emotionally charged event – the meat is so tasty that the tiger cries eating it!
