Interior of nahm Restaurant
Nahm occupies the ground floor of COMO Metropolitan Bangkok.
Atelier Ikebuchi designed the restaurant’s interiors. Ikebuchi won Singapore’s 2009 Designer of the Year of the President’s Design Award.
This 112-seat restaurant’s relaxed ambiance blends abstract Thai motifs with a clean, cosmopolitan aesthetic.
Textured, rusty-red Laterite brick columns are the most prominent feature of the space.
There is a private room screen with hand-crafted wooden screens of weave-like design for privacy.
The modern upholstery in Thai silk exudes a luxurious feel.
Visually striking, guests may dine within its cool interiors or out on the terrace, surrounded by the hotel swimming pool and a water feature.

Prepare for flavor as Chef Prin Polsuk and his team cook distinct flavors that are an unmistakable blend of perfectly balanced tastes.
The focus is on how premium ingredients’ flavors and textures interact.
The balance of sweet, spicy, salty, and sour tastes is addictive.
The flavors on the plate have heat, sourness, smoke, and bitterness to tease your palate. It is unbelievably delicious and spicy!
What is the spice level at nahm?
The best way to eat Thai cuisine and curries is with a nice plate of new rice.
Thai food is meant to be eaten together; the taste of mingling is best described as a mixture of all the dishes with the binder and base as the new rice.
Everything is eaten together to experience the layer of flavors mingled with the spicy, smoky, oily, creamy taste.
The fresh herbs and aromatics provide a breath of freshness.
Get ready for the full burst of flavor. I was surprised and delighted with the dining experience.
Dining at Nahm is to experience a real adventure in tasting authentic Thai cuisine.
It is an excellent taste test of rare ingredients from all regions of Thailand for serious gourmets.
Diners are free to choose a la carte or order the set menu.
We recommended the set menu option to experience the robust and painstakingly balanced flavors synonymous with Thai cuisine.
We look forward to tasting traditional Thai cuisine with spicy, heavily flavored succulent morsels of meat, shellfish, and fish.
Our introduction to Thai cuisine began with Londoners’ favorite amuse-bouche called ‘ma hor.’
A spoonful of the chewy concoction of minced shrimp, chicken, and nuts reduced in palm sugar is placed on top of a slice of pineapple.
nahm Set Lunch Menu
The number of people in the group determines portion sizes.
I was dining with Chili, and the restaurant served the main course dishes family-style, with all the food arriving simultaneously.
A tasty Miang Kham follows this.
The dish has a tasty blend of coconut, ginger, peanut, lime, and Chili on top of a fresh betel leaf.
The next canapés feature two delicious triangles of egg nets with prawns, wild almonds, and kaffir lime.
The following courses of the set are served together.
Two salads are served in traditional Thai: clear Tom Yum Goong soup and a bowl of chicken soup with plump straw mushrooms.
Watch out for that unmistakable Chili and lime kick!
The salad options are refreshing and imaginative.
We liked the lemongrass spring salad of prawns, squid, and pork with toasted coconut.
The dishes are beautifully seasoned.
We enjoyed the delicious taste so much that we lost track of the names.
The set lunch takes over two hours to complete, as Nahm’s food is to be savored and pondered.
How sweet are the desserts?
We enjoyed a sweet end to our meal with tasty Thai desserts. ‘Nam Keng Sai’ (shaved ice dessert) is a staple of Thai dining.
It has a mini-mountain of ice with a treasure of seasonal fruits and vegetables covered in coconut milk.
Our all-time favorite is the classic Thai dessert of mango and sticky rice.
The dessert is garnished with thick coconut cream and sesame.
