Finally, we made our selection.
Mabel chose a Luscious Strawberry Yogurt Scrub, and I tried the Moroccan Rose Luxury Body Polish.
We intend to return and try out the other two are the Farm Fresh Milk & Honey Scrub and Orient Herbal Body Polish.
The aromatherapy oils we liked are De-stress and Relax, Energizing and Memory, Hormone Balance, and others.

Overall, the facilities are well maintained.
Depending on your treatment menu, you have several rooms to choose from. We liked our smaller, cozier couple’s room.
Some guests may prefer a larger room with a sea view. It all depends on the individual.

Our two massage therapists Anna and Ami, are very experienced.
Both are so blessed with excellent, cool hands, and they give us good massages.
The girls are very polite and professional. Every time they move to a different part of our body, they will check if the pressure is correct for us.
When everything is perfect, the magic starts and we fall into a beautiful deep sleep.
The masseurs found all the knots in Mabel’s calf and ironed everything out.
Mabel, a dancer, found the massage soothing and very relaxing.
Their 90-minute Signature Therapy Session helped heal some stubborn knots in my shoulder, neck, and arms, where I spend most of my time writing.
Each massage therapist intuitively knows where to find the knots by feeling our body.
It’s a fantastic assessment of how tense we are as individuals, as we did not tell the massage therapists beforehand.

Danai Spa’s Exfoliating Scrub
The massage therapists applied the warmed scrub to our back and fronts.
The grainy texture of the scrub was to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells.
The blended natural gently cleanses, moisturizes, and restores the skin to its baby-soft state.
Mabel’s Luscious Strawberry Yogurt Scrub was a bright pink recipe containing strawberry extract, vitamin E, yogurt, and milk proteins.
It’s rich in nutrients and renders skin moist and glowing.
My Moroccan Rose Luxury Body Polish is full of the aroma of exquisite Moroccan rose.
I found it uplifting and soothing my heart as it pampers my body.
After a wrap to let the scrub’s goodness and nutrients work their magic to beautify our bodies, we drew a nice warm shower.
Yes, our skin felt baby-soft, just like a newborn.

They served us Stash Tea, which has powerful properties.
Mabel chose the Very Berry, which has a high vitamin and mineral content to boost our vision.
Jenny is accommodating and friendly and explains the detox teas available at home.
I often overeat; I prefer White Mint Tea with high anti-oxidant energizing properties and lower cholesterol.

Review of Danai Spa Treatments
It’s a memorable, luxurious experience and a must-visit spa while in Penang.
Having been to the Danai Spa in Langkawi, I would visit the other spa locations if I were there.
Mabel said she would check out the Danai Spa @ Corus Hotels Kuala Lumpur when she returned home.

A Gentleman’s Review of Danai Spa
Danai has the perfect package for men. I was told he secretly enjoyed his gentlemen’s facial, which was part of the gentlemen’s STRESS RELIEF.
It’s beautiful for men to indulge in pampering for overworked eyes and skin.
His indulgence started with a Lemongrass Scrub that cleanses the skin with a massage.
They surprised him when the treatment ended. 2 hours and 45 minutes passed quickly.
He recounted the hours, 90 minutes for Aromatherapy Massage, 30 minutes for Ginger Salt Glow and 45 minutes Gentlemen’s Facial.
At the end of the treatment, he was glowing and happy. He gave two thumbs up! Did he say anything?
