Luscious Winestone Mediterranean Restaurant Singapore beckons wine aficionados to try its wide range of wines from around the world. This casual dining restaurant is located on Stevens. It is the new go-to classy watering hole on Asia’s happening and famous entertainment and shopping belt. Strategically located near Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens, the restaurant caters to locals and expatriates from its neighborhood, as well as international guests from around the world.
Mediterranean joint Winestone sits near hotels like Novotel Singapore and Mercure Singapore. Mercure Singapore on Stevens is about 3 minutes from Orchard Road. This Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar have a sleek décor done up in warm hues. There are bottles upon bottles of wine on display. Winestone restaurant offers a wide range of wines from around the world served alongside cheese, cold cuts and Mediterranean food. This casual dining restaurant provides the perfect setting for after work drinks or just a casual dinner with friends.
Winestone Express Platter
As its name suggests, the focus here is more on the wine selection than the food. The menu offers a selection of cold cuts, cheeses; olives, bread, and a glass of house pour wine for the signature “Winestone Express Platter “priced at SGD22. Apparently, service is in 15 minutes tops, and this included the price of the drink.
There are other small bites available. This includes Tacos (SGD14), Rosemary Fries (SGD10), and Crispy Risotto Arancine (SGD14).
There is a selection of desserts including Churros with Hot Chocolate Sauce (SGD12), Vanilla Panna Cotta with Baklava (SGD14), and Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream (SGD14).
Chef Janne Ollikainen is on hand to whip up the most delicious authentic Mediterranean platters and signature meals served on stone boards.
For those without any calorie budget, start with appetizers like the Ricotta and Veal Meatballs (SGD14), Falafel with Hummus (SGD14) or Battered Fried Whitebait (SGD12), before moving on to heartier plates such as the Braised Octopus (SGD25), Steak Tartare (SGD28), or Pumpkin, Gorgonzola, and Mozzarella pizza (SGD25).
Prices are kept to a pretty standard restaurant range unless you opt for premium meats like the grass-fed roasted Lamb Rack (SGD52) or the 150 days grain-fed Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras (SGD87).
While bottles can go from SGD48 all the way up to SGD750, you can start with whites and reds by the glass at a rather reasonable price of SGD10. The wine selection created out of the experience and the knowledge of its wine ambassadors there’s a retail section for you to purchase wines for takeaway from Winestone Retail if you’d like to bring the party home with you. There is a separate entrance to the driveway.
As night falls, the music gradually transforms from chill beats to house music. Winestone is the only restaurant and bar on Stevens Road that operates till 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
