PARKROYAL Penang Resort unveiled a refreshed resort after an MYR55 million transformation.  Located on Penang Island’s famous Batu Ferringhi beach since 1990, PARKROYAL Penang Resort has undergone several refreshments over the years. The refreshed exercise to fully refurbish the resort’s public guest areas, rooms and suites, all-day dining restaurant and lounge cost RM55 million.

Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, launched the resort’s new logo identity to mark a new chapter for the resort.

Seamless Arrival Experience

The design of the new space begins at the resort’s porte-cochere and reception, which open out to the palm-fringed sea. The double story ceiling height with modern timber screen and as local artwork which lends a strong sense of connection upon arrival for guest. The relaxing airy ambiance at the lobby hints at the resort’s tropical surrounds.

Contemporary Comfort in a Tropical Setting

The resort’s 308 rooms, has been renovated into ten room categories with 284 guestrooms and 24 suites. There are new Two-Bedroom Family Seaview unit (50 square meters) designed to for families and groups. The smaller One-Bedroom Family Seaview (38 square meters) offers guests the greater flexibility of space.
Spacious day beds are added to the Deluxe Rooms, Family Seaview Rooms, Premier Seaview Suites and Pulau Pinang Suites. These are placed by the window or balcony for lounging as guests relax and look out to the sea or garden grounds.

The Two-Bedroom Family Seaview room offers 50 square meters of flexible spaces for bonding.

A new dining concept restaurant Cinnamon seats 280 in a modern and casual ambiance.
