The grand opening of the Singha D’Luck Cinematic Theatre on Thepprasit Road heralds good news as the new performing arts centre draws theatre lovers to Pattaya in Chonburi province.

This purpose built complex designed with international facilities, gallery seating and theatre 360º sits on four acres of prime land.

The billion-baht development seats 1,400 spectators per show and the performance area is 1,000 square metres.  A massive projector displays films on the oversized screen while live performers interact with the images from the stage.

SINGHA D’LUCK Cinematic Theatre is ingeniously designed and build to actualize a ‘Levitating Theatre’.

KAAN’S DEBUT PERFORMANCE

The theatre’s debut performance is an original story called “Kaan” inspired by famous Thai literatures such as Ramayana, Prince Apai Mani and Krai Thong.

Kaan is a librarian whose name means balancing in Thai. Kaan is swept away into fantastical stories from Thai literature when he opens a book with his name on it.

The 90 minute show invites the audience to explore an imaginative world of fantasy made possible with the latest international multimedia innovation coupled with professional design and choreography.

The Literary classics are re-created by a team of cinematic experts, equipped with world class sound, colour and projection, brought to life by over 90 actors on stage. The production features amazing 8 meters tall giant robot animations, flying aerial displays, moving sets, a highly experienced acrobatic team and a host of other surprises to keep the audience captivated.
