The Royal Thai Consulate-General to Penang together with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) will mark the 60th Anniversary of Thailand-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations with a Celebration Concert.
The unique experience of live symphonic music is brought to Penang with support from the College of Music, Mahidol University in coordination with the Yala City Municipality and the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra.
Royal Thai Consul-General to Penang Ekajit Kraivichien said the concert is Thailand’s gift of music to Malaysia in celebration of 60th Anniversary of Thailand-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations.
“Penang and Thailand enjoyed a long history of friendship. It is only natural that the TPO picked Penang as the ideal venue to bring the unique experience of live symphonic music to her people.
Kraivichien hopes the concert will continue to promote Thai culture and the strong relationship between the two countries.
